We are seeking a dedicated, hospitable, and experienced barista for CADET, a new coffee shop opening soon in Greenpoint.

CADET will be a high-end, multi-roaster coffee shop with a focus on serving the highest quality coffee possible. We are working with SEY as our U.S.-based roasting partner, as well as international roasters like Tim Wendelboe, who value intentionality in sourcing and roasting.

The ideal candidate has strong barista skills, a passion for hospitality, and an honest love of coffee.

What we’re looking for in a barista:

• Skilled in espresso and manual brewing
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
• Reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
• An open mind towards coffee brewing and a constant desire to pursue quality
• Excited to be part of a new, quality-driven shop
• Full-time availability and able to work weekends
• Possesses a New York City Food Handler’s card

Compensation starting at $20/hr + tips.
