Job Description

Overflow coffee is a family owned coffee shop in Long Island City. Our three pillars are coffee, community, and common good. We are seeking to pour back generously into our community by providing an excellent coffee experience, fostering a thoughtful and family-oriented third space, and supporting a local community center through donations and advocacy.

Barista position starts at $17 + tips (averages $26+) with room for growth via pay scale based on tenure.

One weekend day availability is a must.
Looking to fill 3 shifts (18 hrs a week)

Ideal Candidate:

2+ years of barista experience
food handlers’ license
dial in shots meticulously & pour beautiful latte art
a love for hospitality

Key Responsibilities:

Treat customers attentively and kindly
Make espresso based drinks and filter coffee
Perform opening and closing shift duties
Maintain a clean work environment
