Job Description

Weekend/Part-time Barista (Sundays only or Sundays and Wednesdays)
Looking for that coffee unicorn who loves to talk coffee and can work on Sundays (or even every other Sunday).
We are a small specialty coffee shop specializing in light roast single origin coffees serving coffee, matcha and pastries.
If you are available available for Sundays (and/or Wednesdays) we have an opening in our location in South Williamsburg on Bedford Ave and South 4th (about a 10-12 minute walk from either the JMZ or L stations).

Current hours of operation are 8-3p on weekends, 7:30-2 on weekdays.

$17.00 / hr. plus tips, more depending on experience.

This is the job for you if:
You have 1+ year of specialty coffee experience. Experience with the Slayer espresso machine and or V60 pour overs a plus.
You are comfortable working both on your own and with a small team.
You enjoy guiding people through specialty coffee offerings including flavor calls for pour overs and single origin espresso.
You are good at anticipating needs and maintaining productivity in slow or busy times
You are an exceptional communicator
You have your NYC food protection certificate
