Who we are:
Mockingbird is a zero-proof cocktail bar with an emphasis on quality ingredients and excellent hospitality. As an extension of the bar, we’re expanding our coffee program Monday through Friday — bringing the same care and creativity we put into our drinks to every cup of coffee.

What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a barista who’s passionate about coffee and comfortable behind the bar. You should know how to dial in espresso and maintain consistency throughout service. Experience in specialty coffee is a plus, but we’re most interested in someone who cares about the details, communicates well, and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate:
• Has prior barista experience or strong foundational coffee knowledge
• Knows how to dial in espresso and maintain quality
• Is available 3–4 shifts per week (weekday mornings and/or early afternoons)
• Works well both independently and as part of a small team
• Brings good energy and hospitality to every interaction
• Holds a valid NYC DOHMH Food Handler’s License (or is willing to obtain one)

Compensation:
$16–$18 per hour
