We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused part-time Barista to join our team at Bub’s Bakery! This role combines classic barista responsibilities with a strong emphasis on hospitality and multitasking. You will be serving expertly crafted beverages, restocking pastries, managing transactions, and helping maintain a warm, welcoming space for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks to standard

Provide warm, genuine, and attentive customer service

Flex between barista and cashier roles throughout the shift, based on business needs

Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including end-of-day cash handling and closing shift reports

Restock and maintain the pastry display throughout the day to ensure freshness and presentation

Perform regular inventory checks and assist with supply ordering and restocking

Maintain a clean and organized bar, register, and customer area

Fulfill delivery/pick-up orders on 3rd party platforms

Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Stay calm and efficient during high-volume rushes, while maintaining quality and friendliness

Collaborate with team members and support wherever needed to keep service running smoothly

What You Need to Bring:

Previous barista or café experience required

Ability to multitask between barista, cashier, and floor duties

Comfortable working under pressure in high-volume service environments

Familiarity with cash handling, including closing procedures

Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills

Experience with inventory, restocking, and ordering supplies is a plus

Proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Schedule & Availability:
Shifts are typically 6 to 7 hours, scheduled between 7 AM and 8 PM, including weekends and holidays. Consistent availability and punctuality are essential. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday availability are a must for this role, with the flexibility to also work occasional Saturdays and Sundays. We need someone who can commit to closing shifts for the majority.

Pay Rate: $20/hr + tips
