Part-Time Barista / Cashier
Lisbonata – Brooklyn, NY

Lisbonata is looking for an experienced barista who is passionate about coffee and matcha, takes pride in their craft, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to serve our signature soft serve program according to our standards.
We value quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality, and we’re looking for someone who can confidently manage the coffee bar while working as part of a small, dedicated team.

Schedule
Available shifts:
Wednesday–Sunday | 7:30 AM – 1 PM
Wednesday–Sunday | 1PM – 7 PM
Applicants must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
Shifts may vary, and team members should be available to pick up additional shifts as needed.
Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Do
Dial in espresso, fine-tune recipes, and maintain consistency in every cup
Prepare matcha and a variety of specialty drinks
Serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages with care and efficiency
Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive customer service
Serve our soft serve ice cream and toppings according to Lisbonata standards
Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked
Handle busy service periods with focus, speed, and commitment to quality
Fold and prepare pastry boxes for service
Collaborate with the baking team and contribute to a positive, supportive workplace

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a fast-paced coffee shop/bakery
A warm and welcoming approach to every customer. As a neighborhood bakery with many loyal regulars, providing an exceptional guest experience is essential.
Strong understanding of dialing in espresso and making recipe adjustments
Ability to multitask and maintain quality during high-volume service
Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently when needed
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the café in accordance with NYC Department of Health standards
Soft serve/ ice cream experience is big plus!
