Barista
Paper Coffee | MADE Hotel – Midtown Manhattan

Paper Coffee is a fast-paced, street-facing café located inside the MADE Hotel, serving a mix of hotel guests and NYC locals. We focus on quality, consistency, and creating a smooth, welcoming experience in a high-volume environment.

We’re currently looking for a Morning/Opening Barista (Saturday, Sunday) with the option to grow into full-time hours.

* Monday and Tuesday – Opening Shift (early mornings)
* Opportunity to pick up additional weekend shifts / move into full-time

What You’ll Be Doing

* Opening the café and setting up for service
* Dialing in espresso and maintaining quality throughout the shift
* Preparing espresso drinks, teas, and matcha to standard
* Providing strong, friendly, and efficient guest service
* Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and organized
* Staying calm and focused during busy morning rushes

What We’re Looking For

* Barista experience required
* Comfortable dialing in espresso (big plus)
* Latte art skills preferred, not required
* Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual — mornings matter here
* Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Weekend availability is a plus
* Professional appearance (all-black, non-slip shoes)
* Able to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs (stocking supplies, deliveries, etc.)
