We’re looking for a dynamic, hospitality-minded Barista / Lead Barista / Manager to join the team at the newest café in Nolita — a beautiful, Greek-inspired spot bringing the relaxed, social energy of a Mediterranean coffee house to downtown Manhattan. You’ll be the face of our café, crafting excellent coffee and Greek specialties (think Greek frappé, freddo espresso, freddo cappuccino, and traditional Greek coffee, alongside pastries) while creating warm, memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and Greek specialty beverages (frappé, freddo espresso, freddo cappuccino, Greek coffee) and Greek food items with consistency, care, and presentation that matches our brand.
Operate POS systems to process sales accurately, including cash and card transactions.
Greet guests warmly, take orders promptly, and bring genuine hospitality and energy to every interaction.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and guest areas in line with food safety standards.
Manage beverage and food service from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and beautiful presentation.
Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Help bring the café’s Greek-inspired, laid-back lifestyle vibe to life for every guest.
Experience

Prior barista or food service experience highly preferred; experience with Greek coffee traditions or Mediterranean cafés a big plus.
Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha, Micros, or similar) is advantageous.
Strong customer service and sales instincts.
Basic math skills for accurate transactions.
Coffee-making expertise, especially espresso-based and specialty drinks.
Knowledge of food safety standards and cleaning procedures.
Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
