Petite Shell is a brand new shop in UES and we are looking to hire highly skilled baristas. We proudly serve and work closely with Forty Weight Coffee Roasters. We are looking for somebody with considerable experience, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. We pride ourselves on excellent service, a deep connection with our customer base, and a strong knowledge for cutting-edge coffee.

– Must have genuine passion for coffee and the ability to pull great shots consistently (you must have pulled a shot within the last 3 months)
– Should be familiar with current trends in the specialty coffee industry, i.e. origin profiles, coffee processing methods, proper espresso extraction, single origin espresso
– Experience with pour-over extraction and brew theory a plus
– We use a 3-group La Marzocco FB/80
– All of our drip coffee is brewed using a Fetco brewer
– We will also offer single origin coffees brewed on a Steampunk 4.0
– We serve cold brew iced coffee on tap as well as made with Yama Cold Brew Drip Tower
– Basic latte art is preferred, but not required (We can show you a thing or two without attitude)
– Food Handler’s License is a plus
– Flexible schedule
