WANTED!  Experienced Barista – Knave

It’s not enough to be better, you have to be different!  At LPM, our brand is your personality.  If you can handle Counter Culture Coffee with ease, are bright, knowledgeable, witty and stylishly confident, then you just may be what we are looking for.

 The Knave is an exciting, unique concept-it’s all about the java.  A European style Espresso Bar-not a coffee house, not a bar.  Isn’t it time the Midtown set had a place to sip the most perfect espresso while reading the Times?

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?:

• You are the front line of great service! Greet, serve, & deliver it all.
• Can you be a team player to maximize the guest experiance?

NEEDED:

You have got to have the Essential Skills:

• Professional Barista skills and passion for all things coffee
• Familiarity with expresso blends, extraction, terminology and technique: Counter Culture Coffee is a snap
• Can you handle it?-high valumes, high energy, able to lift / carry in excess of 25 lbs & stand for long period of time
• Keep it under control – cashiering & inventory functions
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills; fluent in English
• Be a pro at working under pressure, using good judgment & showing enthusiasm in any work situation 

These Desirable Skills will put you at the top of the stack:

 
• Barista competition experience
• European wine, liquor and beer
• Knowledge of MICROS system
• Multilinguals welcomed
