Hungry Ghost Coffee bar and Cafe  is looking to immediately hire top quality, coffee loving baristas to join our fast growing company in one of our four locations. We’re looking for enthusiastic and engaged folks. The ideal barista is someone who’s passionate about both coffee and treating our guests with respect, compassion and recognition. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Applicants must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to master the art of making great coffee and espresso. Candidates with a creative, positive personality, supportive mentality, and strong work ethic who can take direction well will undoubtedly succeed in this role.

Applicants must also be committed to set schedule (with some room for flexibility).

Responsibilities:

Provide impeccable customer service
Be extremely punctual, tidy and clean in appearance
Work in a small team to prepare and serve beverages and some food items from the coffee bar
Dial in and serve a variety of coffees in a variety of different brewing methods including but not limited to: espresso, pour over, and cold brew

Qualifications:

2 years of NYC Barista experience

Must be able to perform latte art

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Basic math and computer skills

Food Handler’s certificate is a must
