Black River Roasters is an artisan coffee-roasting company based in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. We specialize in organic and Fair Trade certified coffees as well as ultra-premium coffees sourced from small-yield cooperatives and estates. We maintain the highest level of quality control while roasting our coffees.  Our goal is to provide you with the finest cup of coffee in the most environmentally friendly way.

Black River Roasters is seeking an experienced barista. We are an organic certified roasting facility that is opening our first café. This is a top-level position in our growing company.

Candidate must possess strong leadership skills, work well with others and be passionate about or interested in the world of coffee.

Barista Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

-Engaging customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.

-Taking orders and ringing up sales.

-Preparing and serving all coffee drinks.

-Become knowledgeable about all the coffees we serve & sell.

-Developing barista skills and helping train new hires.

-Maintaining the store environment and equipment.

-Re-stocking inventory and communicating store needs.

-Being a problem solver & engaging excellent customer service.
