World Bean at LGA strives to be one of the best specialty coffee shops in New York and we are hiring experienced baristas. We work with Caffe Vita Coffee Co, Balthazar Bakery, and Rishi Tea to craft an exceptional coffee shop experience. We offer an in depth training program to enhance and refine your espresso and pour over skills and partner with our coffee roaster to offer continued training for our most advanced baristas. The position is full time starting immediately.

The perfect candidate will have:

At least two years specialty coffee shop experience

Proficiency in espresso preparation and pour over techniques

Proficiency in latte art

A positive problem solving attitude

A passion for coffee

Experience with Micros POS

Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend at the knees and waist, make precise hand gestures related to espresso extractions

Ability to pass a security background check

A sense of humor is a plus
