Berg’n, a 9,000 square foot beer hall in Crown Heights, is hiring a counter person/barista to serve food and coffee at our coffee bar. This will be a morning position that is meant to help expand our offerings.

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals armed with super positive attitudes, backed up by un-crushable work ethic. This role is ideal for someone looking to join a great team and wants to learn more about service and coffee.

Ideal prospects will:

*be able to assist in maintaining cleanliness of the space

*maintain a professional, positive, supportive work environment at all times; 86 egos, whining and drama

*shine as ambassadors of our style of hospitality, our food and beverage philosophy and beer hall culture; understand the value of thoughtful and efficient service

*be flexible, organized, and ready to embrace working in an ever-evolving environment

*maintain calm under pressure, be quick on their feet and able to lift at least 40 pounds

*have good multi-tasking skills/hate sitting still!

*really dig American craft beer, natural wine, top notch coffee and delicious treats
