Job Description

Popular neighborhood cafe in Clinton Hill looking to hire experienced part-time baristas. Candidates must have a positive attitude and willingness to contribute their skills, experience and passion to the growth of a small family-owned business.

Must have the following qualifications:
– 1 yr. plus experience working with coffe and specialty espresso drinks
– Mastery or working knowledge of latte art
– NYC Food Protection Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure
– Willingness to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
– Experience with food preparation or willingness to learn- must be passionate about food
– Ability to open 1-2 times per week (shift begins at 6:30am) and close 1-2shifts per week (shifts end between 5-6pm) and have weekend availability
– Punctuality and reliability are essential!!!!
