Espresso 77 in Jackson Heights is seeking new baristas who have experience preparing beautiful and delicious handcrafted espresso drinks. Our menu also includes beer and wine – our ideal barista will be able to pull a great draft beer pint and talk knowledgeably with our customers about all of our beverage offerings.

This is a great job for folks who are dedicated to a career in the food service industry. You should be prepared to work hard, deal with mostly nice but occasionally challenging customers (and treat them all equally well), be creative, think fast and be productive in a busy café environment. All of our employees are responsible for cleaning work and customer areas, restocking as necessary, and performing opening and closing duties (prepare case displays, reconcile register, food prep, thorough equipment cleaning, stock inventory, etc.)

This is a full-time position, and you must be available to work weekend mornings. Preference will be given to those applicants who already have their NYC Food Handler’s License.
