Job Description

The team behind estela, one of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016, is expanding to The Met Breuer museum in the Fall of 2016. Co-owners Thomas Carter and chef Ignacio Mattos are seeking passionate new hires for the cafe.

Applicants must be highly motivated team players with knowledge of coffee and food and must have a positive attitude to excel in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere. Further qualifications for specific positions are listed below.

Barista Qualifications/Requirements:
1+ Year Experience in New York City Coffee Shops
Passionate and Knowledgeable About Coffee
Ability to Learn Quickly
Driven, Hardworking and Enthusiastic
Positive Attitude and Customer-Service Oriented
Good Communication Skills
Well Rounded, i.e Knowledge of Music, Art, Fashion, Literature, News, etc.​​
