Cafe Fiorello is currently seeking baristas. Please see below for required experience and expectations related to this position.

Experience:
• 2 + years of barista experience for a fine dining or casual restaurant.
• Extraordinary hospitality, understanding the Company culture and that which makes us different.
• Has created quality coffee and specialty hot and cold beverages, while maintaining an immaculate work station.
• Can understand and produce drink recipes according to menu standards.
• Has developed a vocabulary to be able to explain blends and smells of particular beverages and coffee blends to customer tables.

Expectations:
• PASSIONATE ABOUT COFFEE!
• Takes pride in his or her appearance, always well groomed, making certain uniforms are clean, pressed and shoes are shined
• Provides exceptional service and hospitality to all guests
• Maintain an immaculate work station, restock necessary items–cups, coffees, milks, syrups
• Willing to learn, develop and perfect new methods for creating unique beverages.
• Quickly learns and embraces the culture of our Company and that which makes us different
• Prompt and punctual with exceptional attendance; understands the importance of being on time

Functional Competencies:
• Knowledge of machinery necessary to perform job function–espresso/coffee machine, coffee grinder, and blender
• Experience with restaurants POS systems
