eet restaurant & catering is looking for an Experienced Barista who can join our barista team effectively. The Ideal Candidate has an awesome personality, is fun and responsible. Must be passionate about coffee and enjoy the trade. Barista & Restaurant experience required. Some latte art required. This is a full time position. Candidate must be available Monday – Friday between 7am and 6pm and some weekends.

Primary Responsibilities
* Follow eet’ s steps of service to ensure guest satisfaction at all times
* Adhere to the cleaning standards according to the NYC Department of Health rules and regulations
* Maintain eet’ s retail cleaned and stocked by following corresponding checklists
* Assist baristas with their duties during periods of high volumes
* Basic and new coffee techniques: use a manual espresso machine, Latte art.
* Memorize eet’ s Daily Menu and be able to recite to eet guests
* Accurately ring in orders using Pixel POS System with some cash handling
* Fulfill tasks assigned by eet’ s Managers
* Maintain good communication with other team members and Managers

Requirements
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Passionate about food and coffee
* Beginner to Intermediate Latte Art Talent – Heart, Rosetta & Tulip
* Great listening skills and able to follow directions
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to stand for the majority of the day as well as be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
* Cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and able to work well under pressure
* Responsible, neat and have a clean appearance.
