Caffe Vita is hiring baristas for our Bushwick location.

Full and part time positions are available.

Caffe Vita baristas are passionate about coffee and committed to preparing top-quality coffee drinks. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to cooperate as a team member to maintain an organized and efficient café.

Barista Responsibilities:

• Present yourself as an ambassador to the brand at all times
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Contribute to a positive experience for both customers and fellow employees
• Prepare excellent coffee and espresso drinks
• Demonstrate proficiency and consistency in milk texturing and latte art
• Maintain a calm working environment during high volume periods
• Demonstrate punctuality and accountability
• Continually restock and face merchandise shelves
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative with routine tasks
• Adhere to company cleanliness standards
• Complete all outlined specific tasks prior to leaving a shift
• Responsibly handle money with accuracy and accountability
• Communicate clearly and directly with the Café Manager

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively and efficiently work with a team
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Weekend and Holiday availability
• Flexible schedule availability
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must possess a New York Food Handlers Card, or be willing to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment.
