Job Description

We are looking for motivated and committed Baristas to join our team. If you have a passion for coffee and hospitality, basic latte art skills and a good understanding of extraction, don’t wait to reach out to us!

Requirements

  • Minimum experience of one year with specialty coffee brewing
  • Professional, high sense of hospitality and service.
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Flexible schedule, must be able to work on weekends
  • NY Food Handler’s Card
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness

This is our first coffee shop and you will have the opportunity to be part of developing Bell’s Coffee & Design as a new institution for coffee in New York City. We highly encourage personal and professional growth and you will be able to develop your personal talents and advance in the company.

Salary is hourly + tips, based on experience.

About us:
Our philosophy as a company is to have passionate people who have a great understanding of coffee and love serving specialty coffee to our customers. We are working with a local New York City roastery that offers outstanding coffee and lists some of the best single origin coffees.
Our first store opens in Soho. We have a beautiful space, combining a coffee shop with the best espresso equipment available, and a cozy seating area including a small retail store.

The idea behind the the retail store is to offer design objects that are made by local manufacturers. Everything is made by hand, and every object is unique. We develop and manufacture our own products, but we want to support other New Yorker designers by selling and exhibiting their products and art in our store.
