At Adventure Cafe we are passionate about fostering a community around coffee and adventure travel and we’re looking for like-minded people to join our growing team.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced barista with a strong service industry and customer service background.

A little bit about our cafe:

Adventure Cafe is the face of Sourced Adventures, an adventure travel company providing year-round adventures from New York, DC, and Philadelphia.  The Adventure Cafe team is responsible for running the cafe, serving delicious coffee and treats to our existing and potential customers, while marketing and selling our experiences to anyone who walks through the door.

Adventure Cafe is the pickup location for all Sourced Adventures trips on the weekend, as well as a local LES cafe serving coffee to street traffic and regulars.

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience is a must
• Passion for great coffee (we serve Cafe Grumpy and provide a 3 hour training day at the Cafe Grumpy roastery in Greenpoint)
• Strong service industry and/or customer service experience; ability to speak to anyone
• Dynamic and engaging personality; loves working with teams and talking to people
• Passion for adventure and outdoor recreation
• Food handlers license a plus
