About the position

We’re looking for talented baristas with a passion for coffee and a genuine hospitality spirit to join our growing team. We currently employ some of the most talented Baristas in the industry who are always willing to share their knowledge and skills with those who are eager to learn. Bluestone Lane offers extensive growth potential and we believe that being a Barista is not just a job, but a career.

Responsibilities

– Dialing in and maintaining consistent Espresso extraction as per our Brew Ratios;
– High performance under pressure with consistent pouring of the entire cafe menu;
– Perform friendly and attentive customer service at all times;
– Being punctual;
– A strong team member with a willingness and ability to multitask and co-operate with others;
-Be organized and keep the cafe as clean and presentable as possible.

Skills and Qualifications

– A high level/sense of hospitality and desire to provide great service;
– Extensive experience for crafting specialty espresso beverages;
– Basic Latte Art skills and understanding of extraction;
– Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system;
– Strong communication skills;
– New York City Food Handlers License or be willing to attain one.
