A new coffee shop is being introduced to the Northwest County of Montclair, New Jersey in January 2017. The founder is a New York City native living in Montclair and identified a need for a specialty ​coffee shop in the area and tapped his knowledge ​​​of the coffee industry and coffee culture to develop this space.

We will feature Irving Farm Coffee to be pulled on a​ classic La Marzocco Linea. We will offer espresso, latte, cappuccino and cortado beverages as well as brew individual pour overs. Additionally, we have hand selected and will serve some of our favorite treats from NJ, NYC, Brooklyn and Upstate New York.

As a shop focused on true coffee culture – we’re seeking individuals that are equally passionate for the coffee community. Coffee knowledge and best-in-class techniques as well as client service is paramount for this role. You have a passion for what you do and enrich the customer’s experience by sharing your knowledge to determine the customer’s needs.

The shop is in a prime location just steps away from NYC Bus Lines and NJ Transit Trains. Irving Farm coffee education classes will be extended to our team of Baristas. We are willing to discuss transportation compensation for those commuting from NYC.

Barista Job Duties
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques such as, espresso, pour over, caffe latte, and cappuccino
• Ability to perform latte art and incorporates into each drink requiring milk (soy milk, almond milk, etc)
• Maintains and cleans equipment
