Full-Time Barista

Job Description

Before submitting a resume, we would like you to consider these questions:

Do you have a Minimum of 1-2 years as a Barista in specialty coffee?

Are you proficient in dialing in and tasting espresso?

Are you proficient in milk steaming? exp. Proper temperature and textures, latte art, and drink recipes/knowledge?

Do you have knowledge of different brew methods and how to execute them? exp. Batchbrew, v-60, chemex, aeropress, etc?

Are you friendly and enthusiastic about coffee culture?

If you answered yes to these questions and would like to be considered for a Barista postion at Galerie de Cafe, then we would love to hear from you!

 

Expectations:

  • Expected to display a constant enthusiasm for specialty coffee and it’s execution in a cafe setting
  • Maintain Personal coffee making skill set and professionalism at all times
  • Maintain all coffee production equipment via daily/weekly cleaning schedules
  • Maintaining presentation of cafe at all times. Including workstations on bar, pastry/food display, retail display, and floor tidiness.
  • Responsible for cash drawer countdowns and ensuring correct reporting of daily sales
