Operating schedule : 7AM-5PM
Salary is hourly : $12-13 + tips

Loosie’s Coffee is currently looking for a lead barista that has 1 year + experience in specialty coffee.Candidates are expected to be hard working, detail oriented and have a passion for coffee.

In addition to working with a variety of coffees, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Genuine hospitable nature and the ability to extend that to all customers and co-workers
• Prepare all coffee drinks by following the prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
• A strong passion and experience for premium coffee, and a friendly customer service with good communication skills.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, in order to be able to make recommendations to customers as needed
• A sharp eye for presentation and aesthetics, from latte art.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Take proper care and attention in setting up the barista station and espresso machine, paying close attention to detail and around health code standards
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ensure that inventory is properly stocked in order to maintain an easy customer flow (i.e, milk sugar, cups, napkins, etc)
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions
