Need barista for busy Brooklyn café! Brunswick in Windsor Terrace/South Slope recreates the café culture of Australia by pairing premium coffee (proudly serving Counter Culture Coffee) with fresh and healthy food in a comfortable, modern cafe.  A passion for coffee and the abilities to work in a dynamic team environment, multitask, and communicate effectively are essential.

Responsibilities:
Consistent production of specialty coffee beverages

Perform friendly and attentive customer service

Be a strong team member with a willingness and ability to multitask

Clearly communicating with kitchen staff and servers

Creating a hospitable atmosphere of professionalism, integrity, calm, cleanliness and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:
Prior barista experience preferred, but more importantly enthusiasm for coffee required

Willingness to be trained by our Head Barista/Beverage Director with professional coffee courses offered through Counter Culture

Able to work under pressure

NYC Food Handlers License STRONGLY PREFERRED or willingness to attain within 1 month from start date

Weekend availability required
