Le Pain Quotidien is looking to add baristas with experiance on manual and semi manual espresso machines to our team in our Flag Ship Soho cafe and restaurant. A passion for coffee and the abilities to work in a dynamic team environment, multitask, and communicate effectively are essential.
Consistent production of specialty coffee beverages
Perform friendly and attentive customer service
Be a strong team member with a willingness and ability to multitask
Clearly communicating with kitchen staff and servers
Creating a hospitable atmosphere of professionalism, integrity, calm, cleanliness and efficiency
Must have at least 2+years of experience in specialty/third wave coffee shop setting. (dialing in espresso, latte art, various methods of brewing)
Comfortable working both alone and with others in high volume/fast paced situations.
Flexible schedule and weekend availability. (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays)
Exceptional communication and hospitality skills.
Friendly attitude and strong work ethics.
NYC Food Safety Handlers Certificate is a plus
