Loosie’s Kitchen & Cafe is seeking a barista for our new cafe! The ideal candidate is someone who takes great pride in their work and goes above and beyond to satisfy customer needs. You should have a positive attitude and be passionate about the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities include:
-Ability to answer questions about our coffee and tea, pastries and cafe menus
-Ability to follow prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
-Assist in menu development for coffee and tea program
-Work with team to increase efficiency, better service standards and maintain a positive work environment.
-A genuine passion and knowledge for food and pastry
-Greets customers and takes food order
-Memorization of the menu, provides information about products to customers
-Operates a cash register, accurately counts and provides change to customers
-Follows the operational policies including safety and security procedures, during each shift
-Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume, providing a positive example for the team
-Sociable and friendly to customers. We believe a positive attitude is your biggest asset!
-Prepares and sells coffee and tea drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks as well as prepping fresh juice daily.
