About our company: ​Nobletree Coffee prides itself on the vertically integrated model of coffee production.  We own and operate two farms located in Brazil, where we grow, import, roast and brew our coffee allowing our all of our staff to fully engage in the journey from soil to sip.  Our roastery on the waterfront in Red Hook, Brooklyn is a beautiful space that incorporates roasting and production.  We host a full service tasting room where baristas can show off their skills with a view of our roasters working behind the scenes.  With two additional cafes, one in Manhattan at the Oculus  – World Trade Center and another at Dekalb Market Hall in Downtown Brooklyn we are a growing retail brand in the New York City along with wholesale presence in and beyond the trig-state area. ​

About you: Nobletree Coffee is recruiting experienced Baristas for our Tasting Room in Red Hook, Brooklyn.  This is a unique coffee bar host scenic views of the Red Hook waterfront with an eclectic clientele of locals and tourists alike.  Baristas work with a small group of like minded professions with direct access to our roasting, quality control room, and weekly staff cuppings.  We are looking for dynamic and outgoing coffee professionals with a passion for craft and exceptional heads-up hospitality. Nobletree’s Tasting Room baristas combine expertise and creativity to execute personal coffee experiences in a beautiful environment.

​Qualifications:

  • Weekend availability required.
  • Attention to clean and tidy spaces (and willingness to keep them that way).
  • One year of specialty coffee experience – dial-in, milk preparation, and manual brewing.
  • Experience or ability to learn to use a Mod Bar Espresso machine
  • Comfortable working alone and in a small team.
  • Square experience.
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate.
  • Ability to travel to Red Hook.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills with team members and guests.
