Job Description

Seeking experienced baristas with a passion for specialty coffee for a busy cafe.Blank Slate Coffee + Kitchen is a modern cafe meets coffeeshop in the NoMad neighborhood of NYC. We are seeking trained baristas and all around FOH support for a part time position. Applicants must have a passion for and knowledge of espresso. Must be available to work weekends.

Requirements:
At least 2 years experience as a barista in a high volume setting
Ability to dial in an espresso machine
Able to work and engage with customers while making high volumes of coffee
Able to educate customers on coffee
Ability to work independently
Interest in learning about coffee
Experience in point of sale/cashier
Willingness to help in all aspects of FOH
