Job Description

QWNS Cafe is a boutique cafe located in the heart of Astoria. We are conveniently located at the last stop of the N, W train station, Ditmars Blvd. We are excited to share our love and passion for coffee and food with our community. Our exclusive partnership with Joe Coffee makes us their first outpost in QWNS.

We are looking for an inspirational and experienced Barista to assist and lead our coffee program at our retail location. We are looking to grow our team so Full Time & Part Time positions are available.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Friendly, hospitable, and kind personality
  • Minimum 1 year Specialty Coffee Experience
  • Demonstrated coffee knowledge; brewing methods and drink making
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with staff on all levels
  • Dial-in all brewed coffee and ensure coffee is always served at its highest quality
  • Ensure all brewing equipment is clean and well-maintained
  • Must be clean, organized, and punctual
