Odd Fox Coffee is a small, independent coffee shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I’m looking for a kind, responsible and chill barista to add to our team.

We are a pretty mellow shop, with a customer base of mostly freelancers and a neighborhood vibe. We’ve got three shifts a day, and at some point during the day each barista works alone. This means if you don’t already have your Food Handlers, you will need to be able to get it promptly.

Experience is important as you will be expected to quickly settle into the requirements of the job. That said, I enjoy having staff with other interests in life; students, musicians, painters, artists. I think what makes a coffee shop interesting and fun to be in is building a community of people with active interests, and I hope to provide a good day job that helps support your endeavors outside the shop.

Weekend availability is important, as is the ability to work closing shifts as well as opening shifts. Pay is hourly and comparable to similar shops. Experience taken into consideration.
