Etto is a 3rd wave coffee shop located in Long Island City, Queens. We are a cozy & intimate family owned spot with a focus in providing the best service, coffee, pastries & sandwiches in a fast paced & friendly manner. We are looking to add a full time Barista to our awesome team.

Qualifications:
-Food handlers Certificate
-2 years experience in food/beverage/hospitality
-Some latte art
-Weekend & holiday availability
-Ability to learn quickly
-Ability to multitask
-Punctuality
-Fast paced, clean & organized
-Strong work ethic
-Good interpersonal skills
-Able to work efficiently in a team or independently
-Professional & friendly with customers
-Enthusiasm about coffee & latte art

Responsibilities include:
-Ensuring FOH & BOH are set up before opening time
-Preparing & serving drip coffee, espresso based drinks, tea & other beverages
-Processing cash & debit/credit card payments
-Serving pastries
-Prepping & serving sandwiches
-Baking our pre-prepped, homemade breads & cookies
-Stocking up lids, cups & condiments throughout shifts
-Washing dishes & cleaning all surfaces throughout shifts
-Providing coffee origin & tasting notes to customers
-Recommending menu items to customers

Dress code:
-Casual
-Neat & presentable
-No tank tops
-No above knee shorts/skirts
-No sweat pants

*Pay starting at 12 per hour.
*We offer paid training.
