Barista
Leo Sourdough is a bakery + restaurant with naturally fermented breads, pizza, and wine.

We are looking for someone with a strong coffee background, but the skills we are most interested in are initiative, logical reasoning, and a lot of warmth and hospitality.

The barista is the face of our bakery which includes a bread, pizza, and pastry case and our retail selection of natural wine and beer.

A brief explanation of the day to day tasks:
Dialing in espresso + making coffee
Overseeing take-away orders including multiple food delivery systems across platforms
Overseeing the baked goods + pizza case
Prep-ing batches of frozen cocktails
Communicating with the kitchen and the manager on duty
Loads of multitasking side work

I need a confidant barista who can multi-task like crazy while also being really warm and kind – but also able to manage chaos. Even behind a counter, this role keeps you moving constantly, and I want someone enthusiastic about being proactive, always planning for what’s next.

Ideally I will hire someone for four day shifts each week which for now will be Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday from 7am – 3ish pm.
