Job Description

Joe Coffee is looking for an experienced and hospitable Barista. The ideal candidate must not only be knowledgeable about this craft but have an appreciation for the importance of building a coffee community with customers and within the cafe team. Lastly, the ideal barista will be a kind person; someone who is friendly and helpful.

Candidate Requirements:
– Barista skills (bar cleared and have a minimum of 2 years’ bar experience)
– Hospitality industry experience (a minimum of 2 years’ work experience)
– Able to work a flexible schedule
– Able to welcome and serve diverse customers who possess a variety of coffee knowledge
– Able to remain calm and steady in the midst of peak and high volume times
– Possess a NY Food Protection Certificate
