Barista (Windsor Terrace Brooklyn)

Krupa is looking for an experienced Barista looking to serve the wonderful neighborhood of Windsor Terrace. We are located at the 15th street stop of the F&G lines in Brooklyn. If you have the ability to ring customers up, have a friendly chat and make coffees at the same time this gig is for you.

Krupa is a Cafe, Bar & Restaurant specializing in everything from hand made coffee & quiche in the morning, to house made pastas & craft cocktails at night. We are seeking experienced baristas to join a fun team and to make elegant espresso beverages and serve pastries. Krupa is a busy shop with a great opportunity for tips.

Salary Ranges Between $20-40 Dollars Hourly

TASKS:
– Make high end, beautiful espresso drinks using a manual espresso machine
– Understand and speak with customers about coffee, espresso, and baked goods
– Have the ability to ring customers up, have a friendly chat and make coffees at the same time.
– Set-up and breakdown pastry counter, register, and other opening/closing duties

REQUIREMENTS:
– Espresso skills: operate a manual espresso machine and basic latte art (barista)
– Reliable, punctual and friendly work demeanor
– Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and work independently
– At least one year barista experience in a professional environment
– NY Food Handlers Certificate
