Opening in Greenpoint this summer, Sereneco is an all-day New American Restaurant in a light-filled, welcoming space. Our nourishing, vegetable-forward, seasonal-inspired menu is designed to bring out the very essence of every ingredient, while our space focuses on life’s simple pleasures—natural finishes, abundant space and light and harmonious design. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as a barista!

Position Summary

Barista is responsible for preparing a variety of coffee beverages, as well as reselling various hot and cold beverages, including bottled and canned drinks. Barista will also help sell prepared foods such as baked goods and other pre-made menu items.

This position requires heavy customer contact and excellent service skills. Positive attitude is required at all times in order to ensure the return of our customers who are the reason for our business.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold coffee beverages, and re-sell canned and bottled drinks
• Sell pre-made baked goods, menu items, and other pre-made foods
• Accurately handle cash and reconcile change due to customers
• Complete specific side-work, as determined by management
• Open and/or close the take-out window as scheduled
