The Porch is an artist-owned café, bar, and multi-purpose venue dedicated to serving Sugar Hill. We aim to engage with and contribute to our community by providing curated craft beers/wines and delicious food at reasonable prices with a consistent, locally-centered performing arts program.

We are seeking baristas with experience in coffee and an interest in live music!

The shifts we are looking to fill are Wednesday and Friday with possible additional shifts when we are open 7-days a week.

Requirements:
• Prior barista experience, customer service experience
• Comfortable with food prep/operating ovens
• Comfortable working in loud environments and interested in live music
• Able to remain calm and steady in the midst of a rush
• Able to help customers who possess a variety of coffee knowledge
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Possess a NY Food Protection Certificate or able to obtain one quickly
• Proof of vaccination required (as per NYC mandate)
• Ability to pick up shifts bartending or running sound a plus!
