Job Description

Koneko Cat Cafe is looking to hire a skilled, upbeat, hard-working barista. The position is part time, 2 to 3 shifts a week, shifts are either early morning (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM) or mid-day (10:30 AM to 5:30 PM).

At least one year of coffee or cooking experience is mandatory. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience with third-wave coffee, a manual espresso machine (we use a La Marzocco Linea at the shop), and is passionate about food.

The position involves working with beverages (coffee, tea, beer and wine) and moderate food prep + a la carte cooking.

Koneko is a cat cafe — baristas work adjacent to our cattery, where guests can interact with our 15 adoptable cats. If you are passionate about animal rescue and cats, this is also a plus!
