Located in Midtown Manhattan, Sip + Co. aims to provide a hospitality-driven, local community-focused specialty cafe experience to every single guest that comes through our door.

We are currently looking for passionate specialty coffee baristas who:

Are obsessed with customers’ needs
Believed in genuine hospitality and great work ethics
Have the humility to serve and modesty to learn
Insists on providing consistency and high standards
Understand “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”

At Sip + Co, we provide a specialty coffee shop that:

Serves specialty-grade only coffees that are roasted weekly locally in Long Island City
Produces espresso with high-end coffee equipment
Provides barista training by specialty coffee professionals and roaster
Allows you to advance your career as a professional barista in coffee roasting

To qualify for the position, you need to have/be:

Minimum 2 years of barista experience in high volume specialty coffee shops and cafe
Experience preferably in operating semi-automatic espresso machines and grinders
Proven to be able to multitask and prioritize
Detail-oriented, reliable, and love coffee
Be able to treat everyone with respect
Be able to work weekends, and weekday closing shifts (1 pm -7 pm)
Be able to stand for long hours (7 – 8 hours) and lift more than 25 lb
