Frenchette Bakery is seeking an experienced and detail oriented barista with a passion for specialty coffee and a focus on hospitality to join our team and grow with us.

We pride ourselves on being a true Tribeca neighborhood spot, providing a welcoming and positive experience to all our guests.

Our menu includes artisan breads, viennoiserie, sandwiches & pizz’ette, using quality-focused, organic and locally sourced ingredients (and of course delicious coffee!).

The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar role (must be competent “dialing in”, setting up an espresso machine, grinder and coffee maker, preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, cold brew, etc.), maintain a high standard product and ability to do latte art in a high volume environment.

We work as a close knit, collaborative and supportive team which means making coffee, serving guests (counter service), accurately packaging orders, and re-stocking stations as and when required.

At least 1+ years of barista experience, plus:
– Demonstrate a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
– Teamwork focused
– Ensure tidiness and cleanliness
– Product knowledge of breads, viennoiserie, lunch items
– Experience with packaging foods
– Process payments through Square POS
– Flexibility with schedule (Monday-Sunday, weekends required)
– Part/Full time availability
– Able to lift, push, pull and carry heavy objects between 5-15 lbs
