Devocion is hiring skilled Baristas for our Williamsburg location.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a very popular and growing specialty coffee company!

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum three years experience in a specialty coffee shop
• Have a warm, friendly and positive attitude, must be service minded, hospitality driven
• Serve premium coffee, according to our recipes and standards, quality control
• Great customer service a must, well spoken, can confidently speak about coffee drinks, suggestive selling
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment — we are busy! Must enjoy multi-tasking.
• Dial-in grinders, brew coffee, pour overs, latte art, expedite drinks, use register
• Assist in side work, keeping the store clean, organized, stocked, check in orders, etc.
• Two words: team work. Must be reliable and consistent.
• NYC Food Handler’s card a plus
• Must be flexible to work early morning hours, PM shifts (until 7pm), and weekends

Full time, 5 shifts
Part time, 3 shifts minimum

The hourly rate is $15/ hour, however we guarantee this position will earn at least $22.50/hour inclusive of tips, and will pay the difference if not.
Currently, our Baristas average $25-$28/hour with tips.

Benefits include paid vacation and sick days.

Devocion employees are guaranteed competitive pay rates and are all eligible to participate in our origin trips to Colombia through Devocion’s Employee Exchange Program.
