Hello! Everyman Espresso was established in 2007 and has since built a reputation for serving quality coffee and employing friendly and professional baristas. We are looking to add a barista to our team.

Compensation: $16/HR plus $8-10/HR tips

Requirements:
– A basic understanding of extraction theory and milk steaming techniques.
– Hospitality experience in guest facing food service positions.
– Knowledge of the standard specialty coffee menu.

Responsibilities:
– Providing hospitality to guests in accordance with Everyman Espresso’s standards
– Ability to work independently and open or close the shop solo
– Preparing beverages in accordance with Everyman Espresso’s standards
– Serving beverages and food in accordance with Everyman Espresso’s standards
– Maintaining a clean, orderly, and functional working space
– Maintaining a clean, orderly, and functional space for guests
– Executing opening and closing tasks, including cafe set-up and clean-up, operating security systems as necessary, and preparing daily cash drops and bank reports
– Executing side-work tasks as delegated by the Cafe Manager
– Maintaining a NYC Food Handler’s License and bringing it to work daily
