Noa is looking for a barista for immediate hire at our location on Park Ave and 32nd st. Experience in hospitality is necessary.  We are looking for people who want grow with the company into leadership positions as we expand.

Noa is all about a creating chill and hospitable environment for our customers and team. Our baristas have a positive can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, structured and quality driven working habits, and a desire to work, have fun, and grow with our team.

Responsibilities/task:

• Carry out a healthy and fun work environment.
• Lead by example in customer service and conduct.
• Meet NYC DOH standards at all times.
• Keep customer-facing areas clean and presentable.
• Strong desire to continue learning about coffee.

Qualifications/skills:

• Experience as a Barista; latte art, knowledge about coffee & building connect with hotel & hotel team members.
• Have experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment without sacrificing great service. You do well and enjoy when the pressure is on.
• Flexible Schedule, weekends and last minute shift coverage, and special events if needed.
• Passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing methods and origins.
• Great customer service with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Able to work quickly and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Punctuality and professionalism
• NYC Food Handlers Permit or willing to obtain one

Compensation:

$18-20 an hour + tips
