Noa is looking for a lead barista for immediate hire at our new rebranded location on Park Ave and 32nd st. Experience in specialty coffee is mandatory.  We are looking for people who want grow with the company into leadership positions as we expand.

Noa is all about a chill and friendly energy for our customers and team. Our baristas have a positive can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, structured and quality driven working habits, and a desire to work, have fun, and grow with our team.

Responsibilities/task:

• Strong desire to continue learning about coffee and being innovative about seasonal drinks.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, and organization of bar area, in accordance to sanitation/health regulations, and company policy
• Serve drinks and food to guests tables and continue to offer service while there
• Work alongside our pastry/food team to prepare and sell baked goods in a fun innovative way
• Create an fun and exciting coffee shop environment

Qualifications/skills:

• Experience as Professional Barista; coffee art, knowledge about differences between coffees and roasters etc.  min 2 years.
• Have experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment without sacrificing great service. You do well and enjoy when the pressure is on.
• NYC Food Handlers Permit

Compensation:

$19-21 an hour + tips
