Full-Time Senior Barista
Job Description
We are growing and seeking Senior Baristas/Coffee Professionals. If you enjoy a high-energy, faced paced, and dynamic cafe environment, then keep reading.
We are looking for hospitality-focused folks who love to engage and take care of guests via thoughtful and intentional fast-casual service. We take pride in our ability to provide guests with extensive information about the coffees and our beverage program generally as well as our curated food offering. You should be interested in expanding your knowledge and like to be consistently challenged to learn and stay up-to-date with industry information.
Senior Barista rate $18/hr plus tips (must be able to demonstrate 4+ years experience and considerable skill in a similarly positioned cafe/coffee shop and possess DOH cert)
Barista Rate $17/hr plus tips (min 2 years experience plus DOH cert)
Full-time (4-5 days) and part-time (2-3 days) positions are available.
We are currently hiring for multiple locations (Financial District, Manhattan West, Midtown)
To be successful, you possess:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced, upscale, cafe/specialty coffee environment. 4+ years to be considered for a Senior Barista role.
Passion for providing an exceptional hospitality experience, guests above all else.
Positive and upbeat attitude and works well within a small team.
Ability to take direction, receive coaching and feedback, and strive to execute at a high level.
An enthusiastic love of coffee and food and willingness and ability to learn extensively about the products we serve.
Quality-focused, detail-oriented, and reliable
NYC Food Handlers Permit (or willing to obtain one immediately after hire)
