We at Wandering Barman are starting a daytime coffee program and are looking for baristas, full-time or part-time.  We have a cocktail tasting room located in Brooklyn, off the Montrose L train. Our team is small but we are mighty!  Each of us has worked as bartenders, waiters, managers, coffee roaster and baristas.  We’ve all got in the ring and wrestled with the service-industry beast of New York City.  We know what it is like to work hard for your money and to also juggle a balanced personal life.  And we are looking to bring on more people!

We are looking for folks who genuinely enjoys getting to know people and cultivating relationships.  Cocktails and coffee are some of the tools we have to foster community through connection with people.  Not all connections are good and not all bad connections the end of the world.  Every interaction is an opportunity to learn a bit more about yourself and life.

Coffee experience is NOT necessary but an understanding of your palate is a plus!  Your training will be on a SCA level from past coffee competitors.  Our menu is simple and all about quality coffee.

Our hours are 7am-4pm.  You must have availability to open and close and one weekend shift.  We can be flexible with scheduling if you are too, depending on the individuals’ circumstance.

Pay rates: $17.00-$18.00 plus tip$
