Skilled Baristas Wanted – Must Love Being Busy

Devocion is hiring skilled BARISTAS for our Dumbo and Williamsburg location.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing, artisanal coffee company!
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum three years experience in a specialty coffee shop
• Have a warm, friendly and positive attitude, must be service minded, hospitality driven
• Serve premium coffee, according to our recipes and standards, quality control
• Great customer service, well spoken, can confidently speak about coffee drinks, suggestive selling
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment — WE AREA BUSY
• Dial-in grinders, brew coffee, pour overs, latte art, expedite drinks, use register, have fun
• Assist in side work, keeping the store clean, organized, stocked, check in orders, etc.
• Two words: team work. Must be reliable and consistent.
• NYC Food Handler’s card a plus
• Must be flexible to work early morning hours (6am+), PM shifts (until 7pm), and/or weekends

Full time, 4-5 shifts
$15/hour, however we guarantee our baristas will earn at least $22.50/hour inclusive of tips, and will pay the difference if not. Our Baristas currently average $25-$28/hour with tips.
