Crop to Cup Coffee, a farmer-direct importer, coffee wholesaler, and retail cafe seeks a passionate  coffee proffessional to fulfill a variety of coffee-centric duties at its cafe/importing office/wholesale office located in the Gowanus area of Brooklyn.

Part time, hourly-paid position available, with hours steadily increasing over the months as you move from training to managing various operational aspects of our importing and wholesale business.  After a 6-month period a review will allow the possibility of moving into a full-time salaried position.

Note on the barista aspect of this job: Due to the nature of this position (often times you will be the only barista on bar), we will only entertain resumes from professionally trained baristas who can demonstrate, through their resume and during interviews, a complete set of barista and cafe management skills, timeliness, impeccable customer service, cleanliness and organization.

Initially 90-100% of your hours will be on bar as a barista.  Within 3 months roughly 50% of your hours will be on bar, and 50% on operational aspects related to our importing and wholesale business.
